One of the things you need to do to control your anger is of course the very simple breathing exercises that you can practice on in the comfort of your home. These breathing exercises actually centre around the practices of medication and of course yoga, which you can use to lower down your anger. Breathing and having controlled breathing is a really good way to focus the mind and filter out all the angry thoughts that you may or may not have within your mind. Many people who get really angry tend to hyper ventilate and lose control of their bodily functions. Their blood pressure rises and they see red. So what you need to do is to lower your heartbeat, and breathe slowly in and out. What you need to do is to slowly count to ten and breathe normally.
You can also find another outlet to exert your anger and do some physical exertion. What of course you should not do is try to punch a wall or try to pick a fight with someone. What you can do is to exert the energy you have inside on something else, divert it away from your anger and do something that you can literally bang your head against. Some of the good things you can do is of course running, swimming and if you really have plenty of anger to let out, maybe it is a good idea you take
up boxing as a sport. Some people actually like to go to the gym and lift the weights and enter the classes to let loose and burn off some steam. Finding another outlet for your anger is one of the best ways to control your anger, and soon you will find a much better outlook on life.
When you do find yourself in a fight, the last thing you need to be doing is just letting loose and this is when you need to find the logic amid the fire. Look at the situation logically, and while this is really hard to do, it is really one of the best ways you can overcome your anger once you can understand exactly what you are doing and who is wrong. Also, smile alot more in life and laugh at the things that made you angry before. Once you can find yourself laughing at the world, you will realise that the world will laugh back with you and your anger will just disappear.
Having an uncontrollable temper is one of the most unattractive things that a person can have and it will really impede your professional and social life. Being angry all the time makes you the person that no one wants to hang around with, not only for fear of being roped into a fight, but distaste at your inability to control something as basic as your temperament.
